Saint Joseph |
|
God our Father
creator and ruler of the universe,
in every age you call us
to develop and use our gifts
for the good of others.
With Saint Joseph as our example
and guide, help us to do the work
you have asked and receive the rewards
you have promised.
We ask this through
our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

Saint Teresa said that she could not remember
ever asking Saint Joseph for anything that she did not receive. |

Prayer for the Day:
O glorious St. Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for me a pure, humble and charitable mind, and perfect resignation in the Divine Will. Be my guide, father and model through life that I may merit to die as thou didst, in the arms of Jesus and Mary. Amen.

The church is not "officially" celebrating Saint Joseph today..because it is Holy Week. AND we did celebrate Saint Joseph on Saturday (the official day the church designated) BUT... still there are those of us.. who feel we ought to give at least some mention to Saint Joseph today. So Happy Feast of Saint Joseph!
The book is going along like crazy. I feel like I have been paddling down the stream for months with this and all of a sudden we have hit white water. (White water is when the water is rough because there are lots of rocks and the water is moving very fast so that the water splashes a lot against the rock and makes lots of "white" water.) At least that is my elementary definition of white water. Anyway suffice it to say.. that things are moving fast and furious.
It seems that no matter how "organized" I try to be with all the stories.. when you are working with over a hundred of them.... it gets very topsy turvy. Not only that I have had four different editors working on the stories, plus the proofer, the layout and the candlestick maker. Its like do I even know what day of the week it is? No... I do not. AND how I am going to continue with this as Holy Week picks up.. I don't know.. but God does.. so on we go.
OH and before I forget to tell you... Next week we will be on Retreat! Yep... life may never get back to normal.
Normal what's normal?
Blessings of Peace, Sister Patricia and all the Sisters
