Quote for the Day: ?Thy kingdom come... on earth? is what we are saying. And if that were suddenly to happen, what then? What would stand and what would fall? Who would be welcomed in and who would be thrown the Hell out? Which if any of our most precious visions of what God is and of what human beings are would prove to be more or less on the mark and which would turn out to be phony as a three-dollar bill? Boldness indeed. To speak those words is to invite the tiger out of the cage, to unleash a power that makes atomic power look like a warm breeze.
Frederick Buechner Quote from the book, "101 Inspirational Stories of the Power of Prayer"

I just found out today how to get over writer's block. It's very simple.I know you'll love this. Brother Jeff (friar) came over today for a visit and before joining the Friars he used to be a newspaper reporter. He was telling at one time when we was doing sports writing he would have to be at the game till it ended, zip back to the office and have a story done in 45 minutes. He said "Writer's Block" was not an option. It had to be done. It might not be done perfectly.. but words definitely had to be on the page. So there you have it. If you ever get stumped about what to write about - just wait till the deadline is 45 minutes away and start writing.
I wonder if that would work for getting holy? Yeah, right, better not go there. I don't think God is going to let that one fly.
Blessings of Peace and All Good,
Sister Patricia and all the Sisters
